What to Expect
In this course, you will receive a detailed overview of Resuscitation Australia’s educational methodology and how we have designed innovative and clinically relevant mixed-modality training to revolutionise how resuscitation training is delivered across the country.

“Understanding our approach is essential because it ensures consistency in educational quality, fidelity to evidence-based practice, and a shared instructional philosophy across our national faculty. It empowers you to teach not only what to do in a resuscitation scenario, but how and why we train the way we do, so that learning is translated into confident, competent performance in real clinical environments.”
This knowledge enables you to deliver training that is scalable, defensible, and focused on what ultimately matters most: improved patient outcomes.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:
- Describe Resuscitation Australia’s teaching methodologies, assessment frameworks, and course requirements.
- Utilise the relevant tools and knowledge to deliver Resuscitation Australia’s resuscitation-related blended learning curriculum.
Completing this IMC will enable you to have your existing instructor status recognised by Resuscitation Australia and support you in transitioning smoothly to instructing on our courses, should you wish to do so.
Course Rhythm
The IMC contains 6 modules, each of which is compulsory to complete:
You may progress through the modules at your own pace but will need to complete a module in its entirety before progressing to the next one.
Module 5, the mandatory quiz, will test you on the knowledge you’ve acquired in this course. You will need to score 80% or more on this assessment to pass the course. Should you not meet this grade requirement on the first attempt, you can revisit the relevant course content before retaking the quiz.
